Not exactly Corned Beef and Cabbage!
So I have been trying to venture out a bit with the Chinese food so that when I go to China I am not scared to try all the strange stuff. Previous ventures to Chinese restaurants have been to eat the old stand-bys such as sesame chicken, lo mein, fried rice, etc. Tonight I ordered Moo Shu Pork and one of my favorites....Hot & Sour soup with Fried noodles (which are those strips of fried egg roll wrappers). I had never had moo shu pork before. It comes with 5 "pancakes" which are just really thin spring roll wrappers and something that looked like vege-mite when I first looked at it but it is some teriyaki paste or something. Moo shu pork is actually really good! It looks horrific! But it is pretty good! There was so much darn food I didn't even put a dent in the container. There will be plenty for Brian and I all day tomorrow! Oh - yeah I know it is lent and today is Friday....but I am pretty sure that they said we could eat meat today since it was St. Patrick's day....nevermind the fact that I think that was supposed to be so that you could eat corned beef.....Lord forgive me, for I have probably sinned......
In closing, here is an Irish Blessing for everyone!
May the light always find you on a dreary day.
When you need to be home, may you find your way.
May you always have courage to take a chance
And never find frogs in your underpants.

I must confess that although I am of Irish descent, I have never run across this blessing! I will say it is a good one because you just never know what the day may bring! =)
