Rain Rain Go Away

Today is one of those really hard days that you think you won't be able to get through. One of those days when you just can't stop crying, no matter how hard you try. One of those days when nothing anyone says makes you feel better. I feel like nothing ever goes my way any more. Like happiness is just not an option for me. My friends and family don't even ask about our adoption any more because it has been dragged out for so long they feel bad asking...or they have forgotten we are even adopting.(I don't think this is the case but that is how it feels). I guess instead of post-partum depression, I am experiencing pre-adoption depression. I just need something to cheer me up! Anyone have any ideas? I need something, anything! I just need to smile and really mean it!

Who needs the rain?Strength

Every single day that passes is a day closer to our daughters. Hange in there - you WILL see her face. The hardest part for me is accepting the fact that this will happen in God's time, not my time. Hang in there!! We are all in this together!!

Hang in there, we are all in this together, through happy, sad, mad and you name it, I am here for you. Phillipians 4:6 says,

Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

And Colossians 1:11 says,

We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the ENDURANCE and PATIENCE you need. May you be filled with joy.

I have both of these taped to my computer so I can look at them eveyrday, so on the days that I need to be lifted up , they are there for me to see. I hope it brought you a little happiness and hope. Love, Kristy

I posted a joke on my blog few days ago, seems some liked it so maybe you can try? And I agree chocolate will do. Plus a glass of vino and a good old funny movie you love. I did that the other day and I felt so much better.
A proof it will happen and you'll have a daughter? We went to China once and are now in the wait to go back.

You will get there, and noone really knows what will happen with the wait. Just focus on the fact that this will all fall together for the best!

We've all had this rainy day you speak of, this is just your turn, and we're here for you! Every day of the wait you make it through, is a day closer to your baby girl. Soon, she'll be home and this will be a distant memory, I promise!
