I am listening to the audiobook "Look Me in the Eyes" in my car right now. It is the autobiography of a man with Asperger's Syndrome. There is one part in the story where he talked about something that puzzles him. and you know what? It also puzzles me! Why is this?

People from Spain = Spanish
Someone from New York = New Yorker
Someone from China = Chinese
Someone from Japan = Japanese
Someone from Portugal = Portuguese
Someone from England = English
Someone from Iowa = Iowan
Someone from Mars = Martian (LOL)
