Happy Daddy's Day to all the Daddies and Daddies-to-be out there! We went to a waiting couples dinner today for our local FCC group. We had a lot of fun! We are going to make this a monthly thing. We are the furthest along in our wait of everyone in our group. There is another couple who are about 2 weeks behind us. One couple is Nov 2006, one is July 2006, and two are March/April 2007. So it is a good mix of families. It is good to just get together and talk about things that all of us are going through. We had a really good time!
Hope everyone had a great father's day! I can't wait to take pictures of Mia and Brian next Father's day! (Hopefully!) I was telling our group today that last July 4th I told our FCC group that we didn't want to ride on the FCC float because we didn't have our Mia home yet. We jokingly said "We'll ride next year when we have her home!!" *sigh* It is going to be a really rough 4th. I cried last year at the parade because the 4th of July is such a family time. It really is all about the kids with the parade and activities that go on. I just had a hard time watching all the little kiddos in their red, white and blue running around with their parents having fun. *deep breath* I can do this! I really can! (keep reminding me!)
