Guangzhou China!

Porcelain painting

Painting on the inside of a little bottle. We got a similar one of these and the lady painted Mia's Chinese name inside it.

Memorial to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen. We were told he is the George Washington of China.

Huge Buddha statues at the Six Banyan Tree Temple. No one knows how these Buddha statues got here since they are so heavy. They were amazingly beautiful!

Waterfall inside the hotel.

View outside our hotel window overlooking the river at night.

This is us with our guide Peter at the 6 Banyan Tree Temple.

Tomorrow morning we are off to Changsha Hunan and Monday at 3 pm we get Mia! Hopefully we will get internet set up tomorrow night and I will post pictures from Changsha as soon as we can! I know you all just want to see baby pics!!! ME TOO!!!!!

Sara & Brian~It is surreal for me to see you actually standing in China in these photos. It is so amazing that the time has finally come!! I am so happy for you both & can not wait for Monday. I can't wait to see Mia in your arms! I literally am tearful as I think about it now. You are finally so close to her...almost close enough to reach out & grab hold of her & finally the day has come where you won't have to ever let her go!!!! I am thrilled & can't wait to hear every detail of the coming days! You are in our prayers. Mia is in our prayers! May happiness, good health & safe travels fill the coming days for you all! Jen P.

Hi, I saw your comment on Holly's blog and dropped by to say hi because our daughter is from Hunan, too. I checked out your Mia's photo -- she's beautiful. Best to you and good luck with your spicy girl!

Love seeing GZ - I quite enjoyed our Pearl River view at night from our hotel room. Wow - it's almost MIA DAY! Changsha is not the most beautiful city - but you will always hold it close to your heart since it will be your first "home" with Mia. I have such fond memories of Changsha. I can't wait to see you meet your beautiful girl in the same room we met ours. It is going to be the most incredible moment of your life in so many ways!
