Our Brown Envelope Came!!!

Our Brown Envelope is Here! I also took a picture of the form letter inside so you have an idea of what is in the brown envelope. You can click on it to make it bigger and read it (I think). Just a bunch of forms that we need to take with us to our Consulate appointment in China for Mia's VISA and passport and medical exam, etc. Basically all the paperwork we will need in China to be able to bring Mia home!!!

On a side note, I have told a few family members about our HUGE woodpecker and how he is destroying our tree stump in the front of our yard that I put potted plants on. (Don't mind the fact that the fake autumn flowers are still in there instead of new "real" and spring-y plants). So I saw him going at it the other morning and decided to take a picture of him. Keep in mind that this tree stump is about 2 feet high. Can you see how he has totally destroyed this stump? He has almost pecked his way through the whole thing. Every day we come home from work to tons of "mulch" around the stump in the grass. Our neighbor's stump is starting to look just as bad as ours!

Yeah! The infamous brown envelope!

And gosh, look at the size of that woodpecker! He's been a busy guy with that stump! Too funny about the flowers! I have some silk flowers from last summer in a pot on the back patio!!! LOL

I'll trade you! We have a woodpecker that goes at the metal pipes on our roof without fail EVERY morning before 6 a.m.-and,no-he doesn't take weekends off. My kids no longer set their alarms for the morning. They've become useless!
