2 days ago (on the 27th) was our 10-month LID. Wow. Ten months. Crazy. I checked our USCIS dates today. Our fingerprints expire on March 27th and our I-600A (petition to bring an orphan to the US) expires on July 4th. Since I am guessing Mia will not be here before July 4th - I guess we will have to renew both of them.
I should explain the title of my post. "sure" is how you pronounce "ten" in Chinese.
Heard a rumor that the CCAA is considering putting their waiting children on their web site rather than having each waiting child matched with an agency. This is good news for my friend Valeri who wishes to pursue a waiting child but our agency does not have a waiting child/special needs list. I hope this happens! What I think will be difficult though is that many many people will petition for these children and it may be difficult to get the child your heart is pointing toward. I do think that this will allow many more children waiting in China to be adopted. I really hope this happens!
Tomorrow the Hawkeyes will play in the alamo bowl with Texas. I don't think they will win but we will be rooting them on. Hopefully they will surprise us!
Ha- Did you see Mizzou just get beat in the last 30 seconds by Oregon State in the Sun Bowl??? HA HA HA HA HA ROFLMAO! Can't stand Missouri football! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA MUCK FIZZOU!.....Ahhhhhhh. it's a good day in Missouri! (Now don't laugh tomorrow if Iowa loses to Texas! - They were national champs last season. Remember? Oregon State was NOT!)

The new SN route scares me. It's going to turn into one big competetion for a child. I know it will end up breaking my heart.... I don't know if this is exactly the best thing that the CCAA could have done.
Go Hawkeyes!! Upsets can happen, you never know. Look at the Steelers this year.

Thanks for the support, but you have to realize that our season sucked. We finished 6-7 which isn't a good season. I know how you feel about Mizzou football, but jealousy isn't the best policy. We have to hope one day that Iowa will be as good as Missouri in football.
Keep up the support through these difficult times.
